Mongolian beef

What a crazy month it had been. After working day and night to get my birth certificate for green card application. I finally got the time for my food blog. The bureaucracy did make me pay the price. It is hard to believe how such a simple thing can be so complicated. It feels great to get back to my blog. Here is one of my favorite recipes for you----Mongolian beef that I got inspired from youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohpw2e5_4jA)

Ingredients
For beef marination
8oz(1/2 pound) of sliced beef, the tender beef you have, the better
1 tea spoon of sour sauce
1/2 table spoon of corn starch

Slurry sauce
1 table spoon of water
1/2 table spoon of corn starch

For vegetable mix
6 long green onions, cut the green part about 1 inch length, dice the white part of the green onion
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/4 tea spoon minced ginger
1/4 tea spoon minced garlic

Sauce
1/4 cup of water
1/8 of chicken flavor cubes
1 table spoon oyster source
1 tea spoon brown sugar
1/2 tea spoon sesame oil
1 tea spoon sour source

Oil
3 table spoon olive oil

Directions
1. Marinate the sliced sliced beef with marination ingredients as listed above while you prepare the other ingredients
2. Heat the oil on a cooking pan
3.Cook the beef at medium heat for 12-15 min or about 85% done, stir fry constantly. The tender the beef, the less time it needs to cook
4. Take out the beef into a separate container
5. In the same cooking pot, toss all vegetables mix and stir fry for 2 min
6. Pour the sauce into the pot. Mix and fry
7. Put the beef back to the pot, Mix and stir fry for 1 min or so
8. Add slurry, mix well and serve hot
